(
DiVA stands for "Digital, Interactive and Visual Art".)
DiVA2005; the 3rd Art and Science Exposition
The exposition holds the latest art and science works from all of the Japan.
Today I went there and saw great works.
These are some of them.
Garden by Kohei Asano[浅野耕平] and Kosuke Matsuura[松浦康介]
There're a lot of pieces of paper in the "garden",
and an image of soil is projected by a projector on the ceiling.
When we throw up pieces of paper over the garden,
a camera on the ceiling recognizes them and a flash animation is projected.
Some buds have appeared.

When the number of buds become over 200, flowers start blooming.
Flowers have bloomed!

This is so beautiful and interesting.
Drawing Music by Rieko Yao[
This machine enables us to compose and play music by drawing a picture.

It converts the information about the coordinate and the speed of drawing
into MIDI signals in the process.
And there's more.
DiVA Exhibition will end at 2 p.m. tomorrow, June 25.
Please come to the exhibition if you are interested and... living near Tokyo
[
EDIT] It ended.
BTW,
the centennial hall of my college has a really weird shape.
